Photography is in my blood. At 5 yrs old I was the subject, modeling Davy Crockett outfits for kids. As a curious 8 year old, I picked up the family Polaroid and snapped shots at parties. I built a garage darkroom at age 16 and taught myself Black & White printing. At 21 I landed my first photo job at a portrait studio and later went to LA and worked at a wedding studio. Other gigs followed, - a product photographer, freelancer doing publicity, and then a corporate job for a major engineering company. Having photographed professionally for over 10 years in the Los Angeles area, I've now relocated to the Coachella Valley to renew my creative spirits. Photographing people is what I like to do. One of my photos of Steve Martin was chosen in 2008 for the cover of the UK/Canadian edition of his autobiography, Born Standing Up. See it on my website, pixdude.com.
